PURE Richmond performed at the Dogs Deserve Better event in Midlothian on June 30. Animal activists had chained themselves to trees and dog houses to remind people that dogs shouldn't be left chained up. PURE Richmond and To The Earth showed up to support and entertain them.

Don't forget, PURE is open to new members starting tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 21.

Regular practice runs from 7 to 8 p.m. but prospective members who have never been to PURE Richmond before should come from 6 to 7.

Regular members and drummers who can make it early are also asked to come in at 6 to meet new people and help run them through the routine.
